Today on 17/7/24, 42nd death anniversary of the great social worker and homeopathic doctor of the district, late Dr. Satyanarayan ji, the chief trustee and chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society and Dr. Satyanarayan Seva Foundation, Dr. Anurag Srivastava and his younger brother Abhinav Srivastava first garlanded his statue. Thereafter, Dr. Anurag gave homeopathic medicine to the children in Lodhipurva locality near Avantiwai intersection, where education and culture are imparted to children through Rotighar, to protect them from infectious diseases occurring in the rainy season and to develop immunity. Laddus, Namkeen, biscuits were also distributed to all the children. Dr. Anurag Srivastava said that Dr. Satyanarayan ji was his maternal grandfather and he used to give his services in education and all other fields along with medicine. He was a member of the Uttar Pradesh Homeopathic Medicine Board and at that time, in the initial days, he was continuously making efforts for the emergence and development of homeopathy. He never charged fees from anyone in his practice. And he also provided medicines to the poor free of cost. He also established a school in Arabpur Mohalla in the district which is still running in the name of Late Dr Satyanarayan Bharti Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School. Dr Anurag said that today on his death anniversary, we all take a pledge to follow in his footsteps and pledge to continue our services to the society uninterrupted. on this time , executive member of Indian Red Cross Society and Roti Ghar operator Mrs. Smita Singh, Madhu Gupta, Rishabh Shukla, Pranshu Dwivedi, Mridul Shukla, Sanjeev Singh, Prasun Tiwari were present.
