As per the instructions of District Magistrate/President Indian Red Cross Society Ballia and under the leadership of Chairman Sanjay Kumar Gupta, the team of Indian Red Cross Society Ballia distributed relief material among the flood affected people in Chand Diar.

During this, the Red Cross team reached the doors of the affected people submerged in water with the help of a boat and distributed tarpaulin and bread along with essential medicines to avoid infectious diseases as per the instructions of Chief Medical Officer/Vice President Red Cross.

DSO/Patron Member Red Cross Dr. Abhishek Mishra said that the Red Cross Society stands as a support to the needy people in every happiness and sorrow and in the present time, amidst the terrible horror of floods, we all are working to help the people by performing our human duty. Patron Member Sardar Surendra Singh Khalsa said that the Red Cross has always been doing the noble work of bringing smiles on the faces of the suffering and helpless people.

Chairman Sanjay Kumar Gupta said during this time that Red Cross is helping the people affected by the flood in accordance with its basic nature of human service. He also appealed to all the capable people and institutions of the district to help the affected people.
