Program Description
On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Indian Red Cross Society honored Chief Development Officer Dr. Aparajita Singh by visiting her official residence and presenting her with a symbol of the day and a shawl. Society Secretary Dr. Vijay Johri said that International Women's Day is celebrated all over the world on 8 March. This is a day when women are recognized for their achievements across national, ethnic, Indian, cultural, economic, political boundaries. The theme of International Women's Day 2025 is Rights, Equality, Empowerment for all women and girls. Today it is a matter of pride for the Red Cross Society that the National President of the Society, Her Excellency the President is a woman and the State President, Her Excellency the Governor is a woman and the Chief Development Officer of the district is a woman of clean image. Their honor will give impetus to women empowerment. During this, District Secretary of Red Cross Society Dr. Vijay Johri, District Program Manager Imran Khan, Life Member Alpana Shrivastava, Parul Gupta, Dr. Hemendra Verma, Dr. Salim, Sajid Khan, Avnish Saxena, Agraj Johri etc. were present.
