Our aim is that Red Cross Ghaziabad contributes significantly in building a healthy district. Red Cross is doing such services everyday which will be inscribed in golden letters in the history of Red Cross Ghaziabad.

With the objective of making the TB eradication campaign a success, a free health check-up camp was organized in Sihani village by Nehru Yuva Gramin Mahila Vikas Sanstha under the leadership of Mrs. Sangeeta Gupta which was inaugurated by District Sports Officer Poonam Bishnoi.

With the objective of dedicating the program to women, nutritious packets were distributed to 10 eligible female TB patients by the courtesy of Sushma Gupta, President of Inner Wheel Club Ghaziabad Greater. Sanitary pads were also distributed in abundance to all the women who came for check-up in the camp as part of the menstrual protection campaign.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, this link was further strengthened today when the Chief Guest of the program Poonam Bishnoi, TB patient was presented by Sushma Gupta, President of Inner Wheel Club Ghaziabad Greater and Sudha Tyagi. Supervisor Deepali Gupta, Suman Lata Pal regional councilor, program host Sangeeta Dubey, advocate Shivani Singh, social worker Manju Singh, Dr. Sanjana, Sudesh, Himanshi, Rashmi were felicitated by draping them with shawls and presenting them with certificates of honor. Poonam Vishnoi ji was welcomed by Red Cross Ghaziabad Chairman Subhash Gupta and D.C. Bansal by presenting her a symbol of honor.

On this occasion Poonam Bishnoi praised the Inner Wheel Club, Red Cross, camp organizers, medical board and all health associates wholeheartedly.

The camp had very good arrangements where all types of medicines were available. Mobile X-ray machine for TB was also available. was available for screening.

Red Cross Chairman Subhash Gupta told in the conversation that Red Cross Ghaziabad is doing all the work with the inspiration of its President Shri Deepak Meena IAS. Together we are doing the work which the coming generation will always remember. We may or may not be there but the work we are doing will always be remembered.
